About Beacon

Kerry T. Cooley, CIH, Owner, Operator and Founder of Beacon, and Certified Industrial Hygienist, has worked in the occupational safety and health consulting field for over 30 years.  During that time, Kerry has provided consultative services to organizations in a variety of industry sectors including semiconductor, heavy manufacturing, foundries, construction, aerospace, commercial, public agencies, nuclear, agriculture, mining and maritime. He has provided safety and health training, program development, audits, chemical and noise exposure assessments, EHS management system development, as well as many other services.  Throughout his career, Kerry has also been involved in numerous regulatory inspections, investigations and audits and is very accustomed to interacting with regulatory agencies.  He is also a credentialed internal ISO EMS auditor.

Additionally, Kerry has presented technical information and training on dozens of safety and health topics for many companies, conferences and trade associations.  He has also spent 19 years as an adjunct professor, teaching various safety and health courses at a local community college.  His passion for imparting information to his audiences is evident in his presentation style.
